Where to travel to and how during Covid.


A Cheer from All Canadian went up in the air on October 22, 2021, the Canadian government removed the “Avoid all non-essential travel outside of Canada” advisory. Are you ready to plan your next trip?


2021 is already almost over, and we are seeing more and more destinations around the world relaxing their COVID-19 restrictions. Currently, there are many countries that are accepting Canadian tourists, with more being added constantly.


We wanted to share with you some key information for travel to help you plan.


ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR RETURNING TO CANADA

If you are fully vaccinated, there is no longer a 14-day quarantine required upon returning to Canada, but requirements to show proof of vaccination and a 72-hour negative PCR test are still in effect.

Tips

  1. Book private transfers from the Airport to your hotel or resort

  2. Wear a facemask if you can

  3. Be safe and keep hands clean. Have hand sanitizer with you at all times.

  4. Enjoy and don't overthink it, do you worry when you go to Walmart no.. so just be safe

Dominican Republic

REQUIREMENTS
  • The Dominican Republic is a completely open country for Canadian residents.

  • Canadians must submit an ETicket form showing that they haven’t had any COVID-19 symptoms in the last 72 hours.

  • Something may also randomly test Canadians upon arrival, but if they get a negative result, they don’t need to quarantine.

Mexico

REQUIREMENTS
  • Open to all travelers with no testing requirements.

  • All Canadians need to do is complete a risk-factor questionnaire.

Cuba

REQUIREMENTS
  • Canadians must complete a “Sanitary Statement for Travelers” and purchase COVID-19 travel insurance.

  • In addition, Canadian travelers must undergo another PCR test upon arrival in Cuba and another one after 5 days of quarantine.

  • If this last test is negative, they can end the isolation period.

Jamacia

REQUIREMENTS
  • All travelers must have a negative PCR or Antigen test result that was obtained within 3 days of travel.

  • Canadians must complete a Travel Authorization document to board their flights.

  • Canadians should also in accommodation that is within the “Resilient Corridors”. Otherwise, they will have to quarantine for 14 days.

Bahamas

REQUIREMENTS
  • All travelers require a Bahamas Travel Health Visa and the mandatory COVID-19 health insurance.

  • Fully vaccinated travelers require proof of vaccination.

  • Non-vaccinated travelers require a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within 5 days prior to arrival.

  • Non-vaccinated travelers staying longer than 4 nights will be required to take a rapid Antigen test on day 5 of their stay.

  • Curfew currently in effect from 10:00 pm to 5:00 am daily on certain islands.

Barbados

REQUIREMENTS
  • Open to fully vaccinated travelers with proof of vaccination and a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within 3 days prior to travel.

  • Fully vaccinated travelers must quarantine on the resort’s property until receiving a negative result (1-2 days).

  • Curfew currently in effect from 11:00 pm to 5:00 am from Thursday night to Monday morning.

  • Also open to non-vaccinated travelers, with stricter restrictions and a 5-day quarantine.

Grenada

REQUIREMENTS
  • Open to fully vaccinated travelers with proof of vaccination, a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours prior to travel (travelers over the age of 5), and travel authorization (travelers must complete a travel authorization form via Grenada’s COVID-19 government website.)

  • Fully vaccinated travelers will take a COVID-19 PCR test upon arrival and quarantine on the resort’s property until receiving a negative result (48 hours).

  • Also open to non-vaccinated travelers with stricter restrictions and a 7-day quarantine.

St. Lucia

REQUIREMENTS
  • Open to fully vaccinated travelers with proof of vaccination and a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within 5 days prior to arrival (travelers aged 5 and over).

Costa Rica

REQUIREMENTS
  • All travelers require proof of medical insurance and a completed online Health Pass Form submitted within 72 hours prior to travel.
